A washing machine or dishwasher contains multiple heating elements that require brazing. In addition, refrigerators and freezers require brazing many components, such as compressors. For brazing faucets (tubes to sockets, thread inserts), induction heating is also used. Induction heating produces strong, leak-proof, corrosion-resistant joints since it is accurate, controllable, and repeatable.
Brazing with an induction machine is easier than using a gas flame. You don’t need to use insulation shields. This will speed up the process and reduce errors. The use of induction is even more advantageous today, given the prevalence of plastic components that are easily meltable
While brazing is one of the uses of induction heating in the white goods industry, it is not the only one. Also, induction is used for hardening and shrinking compressor parts, bonding fridge bodies, curing paint, and joining tubes.
